| Learning the Bowen TechniqueSince 1999, Dr. Manon Bolliger has taught the Bowen Technique to more than 500 students in Canada and is considered a leader in the training of practitioners. She is a senior Instructor and received her training in 1992. She has trained Jonathan Damonte, Derek Murphy and Meryl Cook (Nova Scotia). She teaches The Bowen Technique to health professionals, whom are interested in the unique contribution that Bowen offers to healing. Her courses integrate Bowen into the bigger picture of healing, connecting Bowen to Chinease medicine with its meridian systems and to homeopathy and its Law of Cure. The course is organized so that the student is able to use and practice the materials as they are learned. CEU credits are available for most professional associations in Canada and the US, please contact for info. Students come from many different backgrounds and practices, even different careers. As befitting Tom Bowen's legacy all are welcome to take part in the first part of the training and many people take a part of the training in order to care for family, friends and even animals. However, to become a bowen practitioner it is required to comply with the standards for training.

Dr. Manon Bolliger has been my Bowen teacher for the last six months.
She has instilled in me a passion for Bowen, her years of experience
have given her wisdom and knowledge that I am gaining immeasurably
from. Being a student of Naturopathic Medicine I have had many teachers
of physical medicine, Manon has been the most patient, supportive and
encouraging. I feel very fortunate to have such a teacher and I am very
excited to become a Bowen practitioner.
I have attended the Bowtech classes taught by Manon Bolliger from
September 2006 to March 2007. She is extremely passionate about the
Bowen technique and transfers this to her students. As an instructor,
she demonstrates the moves clearly, confidently, and with repetition,
followed by close observation of the students to ensure that they are
performing the moves correctly. She has always been responsive to
questions and cases both in class and via email. Our class has spent
considerable time reviewing the moves, their indications, and
application. I feel very comfortable in asking her to assess my Bowen
skills and she is very encouraging. I feel very comfortable learning
from Manon as she is respectful of the students and is always thinking
of what class format is in our best interest. She answers questions
honestly and her extensive clinical experience gives her lots of
examples and information to share with the class. It has been an
amazing experience to learn from her and I would recommend her classes
to anyone who is interested in Bowen.
Overall amazing! The instructors were fantastic. The philosophy and
scope of this technique really has appealed to me. It is perfectly in
line with the principles of naturopathic medicine.
Excellent! The presentation is very professional, lots of
encouragement. It is obvious the instructors love what they do, they
complement and complete each other’s teaching styles.
The training was absolutely phenomenal. I learned a lot about this
wonderful modality.
